Most recently I did a post on Bobby Brown for his Epic Fail as a husband and father. It is the result of irresponsible behavior and drugs, lots of drugs. Coke, Heroin, Pot, Meth, Alcohol, and anything else. I was amazed at how many people made the assumption of my spite for such people who are indeed "Coke Heads, Pot Heads and Alkeys (alcoholics) without reading all of my posts on FB as well as my tweets.
Many of you may not know this, but I have a fused neck because a drunken irresponsible driver hit me in an accident. I deal with pain issues because of someone else's behavior and irresponsibility. I pay the price daily for someone else's addiction and inability to control their habits. However I have come a long way as I have watched numerous people turn their lives around because of One Person (Jesus Christ, Son of David, Son of Abraham, Son of God). Only He can deliver Bobby Brown in spit of his Epic Failure as husband who led a beautiful young woman down a twisted drug laden path, and now sadly her child. Let me tell you, he should have been praying and leading his wife to Jesus, not drugs when they took their wedding vows, but he did not. However, redemption is possible, miracles to happen. How do I know, because I am friends now with a former rocker who was delivered within days of uttering the name of Jesus. Miraculously he ended up in detox after spending nearly Ten years in a CardBoard Box, addicted to heroin and panhandling just to live, smoking re-rolls, and sometimes not bathing for nearly a year.
However, once Bobby made a decision to follow Jesus, he was totally delivered from heroin, and did not even need methadone to help curb the urges that are associated with such a strong drug. He attributes it all to Jesus Christ his Lord and Savior. God has fully restored Bobby's voice, talent, and music and songwriting talents as he tours the country sharing his story of hope and redemption. God even brought a young lady into his life who has graciously become a great asset to his ministry (Miss. Lexi Lee Laconi). I have personally had them both in my home for dinner (curry of course, what else? right? I am from Pakistan of course). If you have an addiction, or a loved one who is addicted, then perhaps you should share Bobby's story with them.
